Studio 303 Events 

•This school year, Studio 303 will present two all-studio concert performances:

="">(1) Studio 303 celebrates the life and work of French composer Cécile Chaminade in a studio recital of her songs entitled La Voix d'une Femme (One Woman's Voice).  Chaminade's compositions are joyously lyric and delightfully singable and were inspired by some of the most important  French poetry of the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries.  The concert will take place on Monday, October 29. 2007 in ASU's Organ Hall at 7:30 pm.

(2)  Music theater songs and operatic arias and ensembles about characters in conflict will be featured on the second Studio 303 concert of this season to be held on Monday, February 11, 2008 in the School of Music's Organ Hall; time, 7:30 pm.  The program is entitled "SQUABBLES" and will include  music from The Barber of Seville, Der Freischütz, Don Pasquale, The Old Maid and the Thief, The Abduction from the Seraglio, Albert Herring, The Magic Flute, The Secret Garden, Kiss Me Kate, Little Women, Thoroughly Modern Millie, The Last Five Years, Tick, Tick, Boom! and more.
