summer and will sing Guenevere in CAMELOT at the
Hale Center in the Phoenix area soon.
•Colte Julian
(right), was in Pennsylvania for the summer with
the Allenberry
Playhouse in
PA where he sang Joseph in JOSEPH
AND THE AMAZING
TECHNICOLOR DREAMCOAT and Jimmy in THROROUGHLY MODERN MILLIE.
He'll be entertaining aboard ship for the Holland Cruise Line
for a year starting in September.

Garcia Nuthmann (far left), was a featured singer in the
recent Santa Fe Opera Production of Benjamin Britten's BILLY BUDD last
summer.
•Laureen Pickle
(far right), is now teaching at the Uta Halee School in the northern
hills of Omaha, Nebraska.
•Kelly
Grant (seated left below), is singing the role of Christine in PHANTOM OF THE OPERA
in the present U. S. National Tour of the musical. She was
recently married in Hawaii and then rejoined the tour.
•Jason
Fleck (pictured right/Jason in white), was Harold Hill
in THE
MUSIC MAN
for the Phoenix area Arizona
Broadway Theater this last
summer. He
weds in November.
•Paul Betz was
J. C. Squires in the same production with Jason. Paul
performs in THE
PRODUCERTS for Phoenix Theater in the fall.
•Jeff Stevens
was Mayor Shin in the same show with Paul and Jason.
•Max Miller soloed in in
a production of JUNO
Off Broadway in NYC at City Center last season. He sang in
Indiana at the New Harmony Theater singing Freddie in MY FAIR LADY
recently.
•Judith Pannell
is now working for Emory University in
Atlanta, Georgia.
•Jen Goma
won first place from the Herberger Young Artist Award last
spring.
•Susan Lewis
was in a Mel Brooks tour of THE
PRODUCERS with Nathan Lane and Matthew Broderick.
•Kayte
Zhang (in white left), starred as Kim in a local
Phoenix area production of MISS
SAIGON in early
summer (she
was nominated for a Zoni Award for
this role). She's currently rehearsing RENT for a
Scottsdale, AZ. theater to open in October.

Michelle Chin were
in the supporting cast of SAIGON
with Kayte.
•Lindsay Simmons
(right), sang the title role in

ANGELICA and
Mimi in LA BOHEME
this summer
in Italy.

Crispin is a new Assistant Professor and Music Theater
Director at Viterbo University in LaCrosse, Wisconsin.

graduated from from Augsburg College and works in Minnesota.

Kuproski is the new choir director at Chandler
United Methodist Church while teaching K-8 music in the Gilbert School

Second City company in Chicago and moving to L. A.
He may be seen at the movies with John C. Reilly in (THE PROMOTION) and
in a recent Discover Card commercial on TV.

essayed
the tenor solos in the
Saint John Passion with
Helmut Relling and sings with the Conadian Opera Company
Ensemble in Toronto for the 2008-2009 season.

is moving to Washington, DC/Northern Virginia area.

was in Uganda for the summer to do volunteer work for a group called AFRICAN HEARTS.

VanderYacht has relocated to St. Louis, Missouri and will
teach in the inner city in the coming year.

Faraone sang the role of Archibald in a Phoenix area
production of THE
SECRET GARDEN this summer.

Johnstone was a featured soloist with the Long Beach
Symphony this last summer.

Shih (right) will sing Mary in
JESUS CHRIST SUPERSTAR in a Northern California production
this season.

Martin begins her DMA studies as a teaching fellow at the
Hartt School of Music
in Connecticut while teaching Hartt, she'lll
teach at The Hartford Academy of Arts and a local Community College.
•Jeffrey
Tucker (far left), will sing the roles of the Sacristan in
Puccini's TOSCA
and the Grand Inquisitor in Verdi's DON CARLOS with the Sarasota Opera
this coming season. He just married Aya Yamakawa in
Tokyo this summer.
•Rachel
Policar (far right) sang at CLOC (College Light Opera
Company), in
Faulmouth, MA this last summer performing Kim Ravenal in SHOWBOAT,
Marie in CAN-CAN,
Fleta in IOLANTHE and
Frederika in
LITTLE
NIGHT MUSIC.
•Tiffany
Mortensen was nominated for a ZONI Award
(Arizona's
version of a Toni), for her work in the original musical BLACKBEARD THE PIRATE
premiered here in the Phoenix area last summer.
•Jami
Templeton is
living and working in LA and writing TV pilot scripts and
producing and recording her own CD's. Her second was
just
completed recently.
•JeeHyun
Kim (above right of Jeff), has been cast as Adina in
a production of
Donizetti's ELISIR
D'AMORE to be performed in Seoul, Korea in November and December
of 2008. She placed first in the Doctoral Division of the
NATS competition last year.
•Karen
(Schumacher) Novack
is now in her 16th year of middle school music teaching in
the
Chigacoland area. Her son begins first grade this fall.
•Rob Stewart
just sang Harold Hill in a producition of THE MUSIC MAN
at the Hale Center in Gilbert, Arizona.
